For autumn and winter, Chinedu shares her story and her favorite veggie traditional Nigerian dishes to bring some sunshine into our lives.

Meet Chinedu Rosa
Chinedu Rita Rosa is a stunning Nigerian woman, passionate about the world of wine and bringing people, especially Africans, together through wine experiences. Her aims is to ‘Build The Bridge Between Africa And The Rest Of The World, One Bottle At A Time".
After a career in banking, she changed sector and spent 23 years working in fine wine in Lagos Nigeria. Today based in Bordeaux, she is founder of Vines By Rosa, a consultancy based on both continents, working with winemakers, producers, négociants and importers from all around the world creating links between the wine industry and the huge potential market that Africa represents.

Perfectly paired
Under the brand "African food and Wine Pairing", she organises gastronomic food pairing dinners in France and Nigeria.
As she’s an expert in bringing Bordeaux wines to Africa, we thought she was the perfect person to share how Nigerian vegetarian dishes marry perfectly with Bordeaux wines.
She’s also a fabulous mentor to women in wine and to under-represented young people starting out in the wine business. Working with Jane Anson they created the Bordeaux Mentor Week who came to visit Château George 7 just a few weeks ago.

What's for dinner?
Chinedu chose several vegetarian takes on classic Nigerian dishes. Jollof Rice, a delicious and spicy rice and tomato dish perfect as accompaniment or a one-pot main. Moi-moi is a bean based dish, a perfect source of protein for vegetarians although Chinedu added eggs too. The same mixture can be made into the irresistible deep fried Akara and all this is served with delicious veggie 'Gravy' not forgetting the classic African Plantains, fried or baked.
